Rolf Hammarlund 60’s & 70’s Collection
Rolf Hammarlund is a Swedish music journalist who has been working as a producer of music documentaries and TV series since 1980, and has collected instruments, memorabilia, records and limited edition books as a hobby since he played in pop groups in the Sixties.
Rolf produced the first TV documentary about The Beatles producer Sir George Martin’s life in 1993, and the first TV documentary about the German artist and musician Klaus Voormann’s life with music in 2002. He has also done TV documentaries about The Bee Gees, Art Garfunkel and The Beatles’ very first tour abroad to Sweden in 1963.
But first and foremost, he produced music series with more than 30 half-hour episodes about the Sixties and the Seventies, travelling to the UK, USA and Germany to conduct interviews with most of the pop groups from these decades.
