How to participate in the auction
There are five different ways to place bids at our hammer auctions. If you would like assistance with bidding, you are always welcome to contact one of our specialists, customer service during the viewing, or by phone on +46 8 453 67 50. Important to remember: advance bids are binding. Please note that you need to create an account on Auctionet in order to place bids at our auctions.
Advance online bids
You can place bids online up until the auction start time. Each item in the online catalogue has a “Place bid” button. Enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay.
Bidding in the saleroom
Customer service will issue a numbered auction paddle free of charge. You use this paddle to bid in the saleroom by clearly showing it to the auctioneer.
Live online bidding
You participate in the bidding online in real time via your mobile or computer. Register as a customer and take part in the bidding on Auctionet.
Telephone bidding
A written application must be submitted to Customer Service no later than the working day before the auction. When bidding approaches the item you wish to bid on, a representative will call you directly from the auction room and you can place your bids.
Written absentee bids
Fill in the auction number of the item and the maximum amount you are willing to pay. Customer service will then bid on your behalf during the auction up to the stated maximum, always trying to secure the item at the most favourable price possible. Written absentee bids are submitted directly to Customer Service.
