Stockholms Auktionsverk Presenterar

The Contemporary Art Sale

The Contemporary Art Sale presents Swedish and international contemporary art. This autumn’s sale includes works from the Körsbärsgården art collection. For 26 years, the art centre in southern Gotland was one of Sweden’s most distinctive venues for contemporary art, attracting more than 300,000 visitors. It came to be known as “the Louisiana of Gotland”. Following the summer of 2026, founders Marita and Jon Jonsson have closed the venue, and parts of the collection are now being presented at Stockholms Auktionsverk.

The collection comprises monumental sculptures by Cajsa von Zeipel and Fredrik Wretman, as well as works by Klara Kristalova, Sivert Lindblom and Dan Wolgers. Among the highlights is Maria Miesenberger’s “Stilla rörelse – stående” (“Still Movement – Standing”), a 160-centimetre-high sculpture in stainless steel.
