Christmas Tree and Christmas Decorations from the 20th Century

The auction features handcrafted figurines and musical boxes from the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge), reflecting the region’s rich and living traditions, shaped in part by its mining heritage. The renowned manufacturers Wendt & Kühn and Schumann, both from Grünhainichen, are represented by their famous angel orchestras and angel choirs. The selection also includes antique candy containers, Father Christmas figures and nativity scenes. A child’s sled may even delight children today.
