Contemporary half calf, worn, crack along spine, sparsely gilt spine, red-speckled edges. Marginal notes as well as notes in text in ink and pencil. Light dampstaining in upper margin in the middle part. Large tear in outer margin touching text p. 171. Traces of torn paper on inner cover. With the bookplate of Child Bookseller.
