Contemporary vellum, worn and spotted, upper cover damaged in lower outer corner, on upper cover the initials C V M and year 1558, on lower cover a french lily, spine in four compartments, small damage at head. Lacks endpaper. Last leaf partly loose, 5 pages at end with hole in the upper margin or upper outer corner, partly some dampstaining, partly spotted. Marginal annotations and underlinings. Some inkstains. Contemporary annotations on first endpaper. Old signatures of Georg Schöning, pastoris... Pomerania, and Johannes Rudolphus... early 17th century, some others on inside of upper cover.
