HISTORIK:
The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1941 were helt together with th FIS Nordic World Ski Championships on 1-9 February in Cortina d´Amprezzo, Italy.
Five years later in 1946, the International Ski Federation (FIS) canceled the results because only 13 Axis-friendly countries during World War II participated.
Germany and Italy won all 18 medals.
The other participating nations included Hungary, Romania, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Slovakia and Switzerland.
