ENGRAVED CARDS OF ROMAN GODS. No place, no year. Pencil note on rear of one card stating Leipzig, 1785.
11 handcoloured engraved cards of deities, measuring 102 x 55 mm and 9 cards of their attributes, 64 x 34 mm.
In later marbled case. Cards lightly dusty, a few minor stains, most with hand-written numbers complementing the printed ones.
Deities: Numbers 1-5, 7-12. Attributes: 1,3-5, 8, 9, 11, 12. 2 different cards with the number 4.
Obviously incomplete. If a game, not known. Possibly made for paedagogic reasons -pair right deity with right attribute.
