Oblong folio (380x545 mm). Title with large tinted lithograph vignette (some foxing), 1 lithograph map (of 2, one missing), 41 tinted lithograph views (of 44, 3 missing, minor foxing).
Contemporary red half calf, worn, marbled boards, gilt spine in five compartments.
Rare documentation of the 19th century industrial and factory architecture. This interesting work with fine lithographs shows mostly Belgian factories at Angleur, St. Leonard at Liege, Valentin, Flone, Moresnet, Tilff, Weklenraedt etc.
