Photographs of Italy and Northern Africa

PHOTOGRAPHS OF ITALY - NORTHERN AFRICA. About 60 albumen prints of Italy and Northern Africa, c. 1900, size varies but c. 190x250 mms., some smaller. Most photographs are prints for the tourist trade with printed text and mounted on stiff boards in an album (many faded or partly faded, some spotting /and foxing, stains from glue, some damages). Boards foxed.
Album in oblong folio (c. 320x400 mms), black half leather, damaged and very worn, cracked inner joints and loose in binding.

Images include 25 showing views and monuments of Italy (Rome, Tivoli) and 13 prints of sculptures from Italian museums. 22 showing views of Alger, Tunisia etc. in Northern Africa.
