NIDER, JOHANNES. Sermones de tempore et de sanctis cum quadragesimali. Ulm (J. Zainer d. Ä.) no date (about 1478/80).
Folio (about 29,5:21 cm). (317, of 318, including 2 blank, lacks last blank) ll. 41 lines. With ornamental woodcut-initials, and partly rubricated and annotated in red. Gathering p comprises 9 sheets (second half of third sheet as a fold as for all Stuttgart copies in GW).
Contemporary Ulm blindstamped pigskin over wooden boards, rubbed and worn, somewhat darkened, Spine in four compartments with a few wormstitches and 2 small tears at head, hinges a bit weak, lacking clasps and fittings. Light browning or spotting in places, occasional small marginal tears, minor wormholes to final leaves. Bearer type on 2 leaves. Some later (but old) marginal ink annotations and underlinings. Upper inner board with traces of removed bookplate.
